Follows hospital protocol for exam routines and produces quality studies in an efficient,
timely
manner.
Completes the procedure in an effective and efficient manner,
i.e.
properly documents all patient information, process reports and files reports
in a timely manner
, applies
appropriate charges
within the
time frame
of the work shift, re-supply stock, clean and prepare exam rooms.
Skillfully
operate
M-Mode, 2-D, and Doppler modalities, performing study within a
timeframe
of one hour per patient.
Prepares
patient
for study in a professional and reassuring manner.
Recognizes abnormalities, takes
measurements
and notifies physicians of findings to ensure proper diagnosis.
Keeps current of recent advances in the field by attending seminars and various informational meetings.
