About the job : Weare seeking an ABSM board certified sleep physician to work eitherpart-time (1-2 days / week) at our new Sleep Medicine Center located at Lawrence Memorial Hospitalof Medford. The position joins two other physicians with pre- and post-sleepconsults. No call required other than management of own patients. The patientpopulation is adult and geriatric, with no pediatrics currently. Thenew Hallmark Health Sleep Medicine Center at Lawrence Memorial Hospital ofMedford offers complete care and services by a team of sleep medicine providerstrained in the diagnosis, treatment and management of sleep disorders includingsleep apnea, excessive snoring, narcolepsy, chronic insomnia and circadianrhythm abnormalities. Asthere is a strong correlation between obesity and sleep apnea, the hospital isable to provide comprehensive treatments for bariatric surgery patients with anonsite sleep medicine program. The new Sleep Center is adjacent to the newlyrenovated location for Hallmark Health s Center for Weight Management andWeight-Loss Surgery. Careis provided in new, state-of-the-art facilities with the latest in diagnostictesting and treatments. Sleep studies are offered both in-home and in-hospitalin a safe and comfortable environment.
