Apartment Property Manager

Wales Landing Apartments is seeking a Full-Time experienced Property Manager for an apartment community in Lake Wales, FL. In this position, it is expected that the qualified applicant will exercise good management skills and be responsible for achieving certain daily goals to include implementing the policies as set forth by management. Applicants should be multi-skilled, a self-starter, possess strong leadership ability with excellent people skills. With this position housing is available for the qualified applicant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Manager's duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with residents, co-workers and vendors.
• Maintain an organized system for accurate record keeping which includes resident files, general correspondence, purchasing and budget logs.
• Maintain accurate record keeping for all incoming rent collection, including following up with delinquent accounts.
• Inspect all vacancies on a weekly basis, walk grounds and recreational areas on a daily basis. Ensure that vacant units are rent ready and available to show at all times.

Required Experience:

• Experience in Affordable Housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous Real Estate, property management experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management preferred.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties.
• Valid Driver's License
