SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented Motion Design intern to join the Hallmark Media Brand Design team. The ideal candidate will have a background in graphic design and animation, with an interest in motion graphics for TV / Broadcast, Streaming and / or Social Media. You will work closely with our Brand Marketing, Design, Creative, and Post-Production teams to create animations that enhance our content and eager to learn the ins and outs of the Entertainment Network industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and produce motion graphics and animations for broadcast, streaming, social media, and other motion content.Create engaging visuals including animated logos, title cards, lower thirds, motion posters, promo toolkits, etc.Develop storyboards, style frames, and mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts.Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency in branding and visual identity across projects.Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in motion design and animation.Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a solid understanding and foundation of graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography and composition.Must have an understanding of static, video, and animated asset production, as well as best practices for social and digital assets.Rising junior or recent graduate from a four-year university.OTHER REQUIREMENTS
2D animation skills : Timing, spacing, easing.Image editing skills : Retouching, cropping, resizing, color editing.Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with focus in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.Some knowledge of Cinema4D and motion graphic templates a plus.Some knowledge of After Effects 3rd Party plugins (such as the Red Giant Suite) a plus.Positive and professional attitude. Great communicator and willingness to take on projects.Powerpoint and Keynote experience a plus.
The hourly range for this job is $17.27. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
