Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Apprentice Stone Countertop Installer to assist with the installation of granite, marble, quartz, and other stone surfaces. No prior experience necessary — we will provide on-the-job training to help you develop the skills you need to advance in the trade.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead installers with the transportation, handling, and installation of stone countertops
- Help prepare surfaces and templates for fitting
- Load and unload materials safely
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 100 lbs)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Punctual and dependable
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience with construction, carpentry, or stone installation
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
