• I agree for my driving record to be reviewed by the District's Insurance Company. I agree to drug and alcohol testing as required by the District. I understand that the district is required by federal regulations to obtain alcohol and drug testing results from previous employers for two years prior to the date of the application.
• I certify that I am NOT related to any present member of the Board of Trustees of the Hallsville Independent School District, #102-904, within the third degree by blood relatives or within the second degree by marriage relatives.

You understand and agree that any misrepresentation or falsification of facts may be sufficient for disqualification of this application or termination of employment. Furthermore, you understand and agree that the application and records become the property of Hallsville Schools, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If employed, you further agree to observe all rules, regulations and policies of the district. You understand that in accordance with state law, school districts may obtain a criminal record of all applicants for employment and that the Texas Department for Public Safety and/or other law enforcement agencies may be contacted to provide records. The Hallsville Independent School District is required by law to obtain criminal history record information on all applicants for employment with the district (Texas Education Code - Section 21.917).
