ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Drawing from disciplines including systems, optics, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, and industrial design we're assembling the capacity to provide even deeper customer collaboration on highly precise challenges across industries.
As an Applications Engineer, you will :
- Work directly with sales force to interact with customers to understand their application needs to recommend the best product configuration for them
- Act as customer trusted advisor, consult customer about solutions options after understanding their needs & expectations
- Develop Product Specifications for OEM customers
- Constantly engage with existing and potential customers. Identify their needs, ability to articulate customer's problem statements, and propose solutions that will help customers be successful
- Support qualification testing of new products at customer sites
- Accurately record customer issues and document resolutions
- Identify opportunities for product and solution improvement, feedback to R&D, and influence design / product requirements
- Maintain a thorough understanding and broad knowledge of customers, competitors, and market products and solutions offered
- Perform remote & on-site services as required. May require travel to customer sites
- Deliver technical demo / training / knowledge transfer to customers / partners as required
