An Equipment Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, inventory, and proper allocation of all company equipment, ensuring optimal utilization, safety compliance, and cost-effective management through tracking usage, and coordinating repairs.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Inventory Management
- Maintenance Scheduling
- Performance Monitoring
- Creating work orders, assigning purchase orders and ordering parts
- Tracking equipment data
- Dispatch
- Small tools management
Relevant skills for the position:
- Technical Knowledge of various types of heavy equipment and maintenance requirements
- Problem solving – Coordinating repairs, and finding solutions to operational challenges
- Communication Skills – Effectively communicating with Field Mechanics and others
- Organizational Skills – Maintaining detailed records, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple equipment maintenance schedule.
