- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or community activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Support clients in engaging with their communities, promoting social interaction and inclusion.
- Adhere to all policies regarding resident rights and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or social work is preferred, especially working with individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing personal care homes or nursing facilities is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a hygienic environment for clients.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for client outings.
