Partner with your self-organizing agile team members and your product owner (PO) to translate business needs into workable technology solutions with minimal technical debt.
Deliver high quality work in both the front end and back end development spaces of our florist applications, automation framework, or other technology areas as needed.
Interact closely with the business, engineering peers, and leadership to understand the business objectives and provide technical and non-technical solutions to business problems.
Help us serve our florist customers by building a better technical solution for them.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of software development experience
- Background in Microsoft .NET environment using C#, MFC / C
- Experience in consuming and writing Web Services and Web applications
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS & Reporting Services
- Knowledge in writing stored procedures and views
- Strong team player yet self-motivated and able to make progress with limited direction
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Retail systems experience such as Point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with automated unit testing
- Experience working in enterprise development environment using version control
- Experience with Continuous Integration – Continuous Deployment
- Willingness to work in support rotation and communicate across teams
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
- BS in computer science or related degree / experience
