Join us as a Patient Navigator specializing in imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing. This part-time opportunity has a Monday - Friday 3 : 30pm to 8pm MTN schedule, and is located in Glendale, AZ. Our Patient Navigators play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of recent medical assistant experience coordinating with a team of medical professionals and experience with insurance verifications / authorizations. Candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Genetics education for high-risk patients.
- Registration and scheduling follow up appointments for genetic testing.
- Collection of specimens for genetic testing.
- Liaison between patient, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Referring Physicians.
- Insurance verification and authorization.
- Maintain compassion and professional demeanor with patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians.
