Join us as a Patient Navigator specializing in imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing. This position will be based in Phoenix, AZ and is required to be fully onsite Our Patient Navigators play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of recent medical assistant experience (preferably certified), prior experience with insurance verification and authorization and coordinating with a team of medical professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Genetics education for high-risk patients.
  • Registration and scheduling follow up appointments for genetic testing.
  • Collection of specimens for genetic testing.
  • Liaison between patient, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Referring Physicians.
  • Insurance verification and authorization.
  • Maintain compassion and professional demeanor with patients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians.

Qualifications :

  • 2 years of certified medical assistant experience in imaging highly preferred.
  • Experience in processing insurance verifications and authorizations is required.
  • Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their technical skills through a comprehensive assessment as part of the selection process.
