HALO is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Logistics team as a Logistics Coordinator . The ideal person will be highly skilled at communication, negotiation, organization, customer service, and freight forwarding experience. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing large shipments of all types of freight, both domestically and internationally. You will also provide support to other areas of the Operations team and outside departments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all types of shipments with suppliers and vendors : i.e. domestic, international, courier, air, ocean etc. and ensure on time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all freight quotes and shipments.
- Take ownership of the project and ensure that all costs associated with the transactions remain within budget while meeting strict deadline requirements.
- Manage the flow of shipments and goods into their respective destinations and identify appropriate carriers based on cost, time, and security.
- Build relationships with freight vendors, suppliers, AEs, and other departments throughout HALO.
- Accurately classify goods to their correct tariff classification.
- Pre-quote shipments for customers and respond to RFP requests.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and labeling for shipments is done accurately and on time.
- Work with the Compliance department to ensure that all compliance requirements are met to each destination.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless flow of cargo and information.
- Provide reports on freight and shipping activities and maintain tracking metrics.
- Assist with special projects and problem resolution for shipment issues or delays.
- Stay informed about global logistics trends, regulations, global climate, and emerging technologies

Compensation : The estimated base hourly rate for this position is between $17 and $26 per hour. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
