Position Overview :
Halo Branded Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Architect to lead the architecture of our data engineering platforms and enterprise data solutions. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data architectures that support our business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Work directly with the VP of Data Engineering to help develop enterprise data strategy in collaboration with our business and technology partners.
Data Engineering Platform Architecture :
- Design and oversee the architecture of our data engineering platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Provide architectural guidance for date engineering teams utilizing tools such as Informatica, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, and Tableau. Architect processes, procedures, templates, and best practices to build and manage data pipelines, ETL processes, and Dev Ops / CI / CD solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of data tools and technologies.
- Work with business leaders and cross-functional tech teams on data needs.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to identify solutions and document functional requirements for new processes and existing issues.
- Work directly with teams responsible for shaping how we acquire, collect and leverage data.
- Work with ISO and business owners to manage and monitor security access in compliance with company policies.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $190,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
