Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee operations at our early learning center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of daily classroom activities. This role requires strong teaching skills, effective classroom management capabilities, communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, teachers, and community members. Must be extremely trustworthy, honest, reliable, dependable, a team player, must hold an associate's degree in ECE or a CDA credential.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure the classroom is prepared before the children arrive.
-Arrange learning materials, toys, and activity areas. Ensure everything is in place for a smooth start to the day.
-Greet children as they arrive, help with transitions, and communicate with parents regarding any important updates or messages.
-Supervise children during play, group activities, and lessons. Ensure a safe and positive environment.
-Support teachers in facilitating structured learning activities, playtime, and creative expression.
-Assist children in developing social skills, managing emotions, and following classroom routines.
-Coordinate with teachers and other staff members to ensure smooth operation. Offer support where needed.
-Ensure that materials are cleaned up after activities and that areas are reset for the next part of the day.
-Oversee children during lunchtime, ensuring they are eating properly and safely.
-Monitor children during naptime or quiet time.
-Share any updates, reminders, or progress reports with parents during pick-up.
-Document any observations on individual children's behavior, milestones, or needs throughout the day.
-Oversee/help with cleaning up the classroom, ensuring that all toys and materials are safely put away and/or disinfected.
-Go over, edit, organize, etc. lesson plans, materials, and the classroom for the next day’s activities.
-Have a quick meeting with teachers and staff to review the day’s events, share feedback, and plan for the next day (as needed).
-Handle any administrative duties, such as reviewing attendance, checking emails, or completing reports.
-Train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance to promote a productive work environment.
-Monitor site conditions and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
