Job Description:
A successful Tractor Driver should have good concentration skills and excellent hand-eye coordination. Outstanding Tractor Drivers are detail oriented and demonstrate strength as well as active listening skills. .
Responsibilities:
- Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors and other farm equipment.
- Operating tractors safely and efficiently.
- Performing inspection of tractors and attachments like graders, rollers, and plows are well lubricated and in working order.
- Using tractors with transport materials and pull or push agricultural equipment.
- Reporting any faults or concers to the Farm Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Remaining alert while driving and servicing the tractor, and maintaining the appropriate speed limit at all times.
- Completing minor repairs on tractor and farm equipment.
Job Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to identify and react to hazards.
- Heavy equipment experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work on tractors and equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
