Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated School Guidance Counselor to join our team at one of our K-12 public school academies located in Dearborn Heights, MI.
The successful candidate will provide on-site counseling to students, helping them make informed decisions about their academic and personal goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with diverse student populations.
- A Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field
- A Michigan Teaching Certification with a School Counselor endorsement
- Experience in individual, group, and family counseling with adolescents
- Counseling experience must be in an educational setting
- Excellent organization, planning, professionalism, and time management skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
