Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled School Guidance Counselor to provide academic and personal support to students at our K-12 public school academy in Dearborn Heights, MI.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students
- Assist students in evaluating their abilities, interests, and career goals
- Advise students on college majors, admission requirements, and financial aid
- Develop and implement behavioral management plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student success
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field
- A Michigan Teaching Certification with a School Counselor endorsement
- Experience in individual, group, and family counseling with adolescents
- Counseling experience must be in an educational setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
