Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and general upkeep of outdoor spaces. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage various tasks related to lawn care and hardscape maintenance, ensuring that our grounds remain in excellent condition throughout the year.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawns.
- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and watering plants to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for various maintenance tasks effectively and safely.
- Assist with hardscape projects including installation and repair of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor areas and report any issues or necessary repairs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques and equipment operation is essential.
- Knowledge of tree trimming and care practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation of equipment between job sites.
