Employment opportunity:
Hamann Insurance Group is currently searching for a dynamic Commercial Lines Account Manager or Assistant. In this role you would work with standard carriers such as Travelers, Liberty Mutual, USLI, Philadelphia, Hartford, Texas Mutual WC, Utica, Berkshire Hathaway (GUARD), State Auto, and Nationwide, and a number of well-known brokers, such as Burns & Wilcox, CRC, and RPS to service and support our commercial lines clients with renewals, new business, and remarketing. · We are in Katy, Texas—conveniently located near both I-10 & Grand Parkway (99).
· The office hours are 800am-500pm.
· Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Analyzes client needs, coverage forms and quotations.
· Completes applications, submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
· Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements; verifies their accuracy; forwards them to the client with appropriate correspondence.
· Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed.
· Processes renewals according to agency procedures.
· Reviews audits of policies, verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections
· Verifies policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary
· Promptly processes incoming mail and e-mails and phone requests
· Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts.
· Processes and follows up on cancellations requests to carriers.
· Assists clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitates prompt response from carrier, and follows up on claims status.
· Identifies exposures to loss and recommends appropriate coverages or safety programs

· Maintains cordial and effective relationship with clients, coworkers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts.
· Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
· Utilizes good communications skills and cooperates purposefully. Provides information and guidance to achieve the business goals of the agency.
· Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
· Knowledge of insurance products and usage’s, insurance markets, insurance rating, and underwriting procedures.
Requirements:
· Property & Casualty Insurance License required
· Minimum 3 years independent agency experience
· Experience with insurance sales
· Experience with Applied EPIC agency management system preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
