Job Description :
Hamaspik of Kings County Inc. is currently seeking per diem NYS Licensed Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic services in home settings for our Early Intervention program serving all 5 NYC boroughs with highest concentration in Brooklyn. At Hamaspik we value the importance of a team centered, multi-disciplinary therapeutic approach.
Responsibilities include :
- Working 1 : 1 with children diagnosed with developmental delays.
- Creating family centered treatment goals to facilitate carryover and maximum progress.
- Monitoring & assessing intervention effectiveness utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Maintaining appropriate documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.
- Educating families and caregivers about the therapeutic process.
