Part Time Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to delivery schedules.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on assigned routes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is advantageous.
• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
