The School Nurse is responsible for managing and coordinating the health services program within the school to support student health, safety, and academic success. The nurse provides direct care to students, promotes health education, and ensures compliance with state and federal health regulations.
Applicant must be an Arkansas licensed RN. Applicant must be able to provide first aid care, administer medications, have the ability to write care plans and coordinate care of students with chronic or acute conditions. Also, applicants must be able to educate and train staff on chronic or acute health conditions, be able to communicate well with adults and children and must be efficient in computer skills.
