We are partnered with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in cloud migration and IT security solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that are now seeking a vCIO to join their team of experts!
As a vCIO, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining Customer business level strategic relationships, then utilizing and building on these relationships to better understand Customers’ business goals and objectives. The vCIO is responsible for establishing technology budgeting and strategic roadmaps for Customers that both reduce business risk and facilitate technology improvements across the business. A strong vCIO understands that technological decisions support broader business objectives. The candidate will help clients realize cost savings through IT improvements, create effective IT strategies tailored to the specific needs of different businesses, evaluate technology solution and make thoughtful recommendations.
Responsibilities :
- Understand vCIO objectives, as well as the role and function of internal team members.
- Understand each client setup, history from internal team members, review and create documentation as well as history of projects.
- Review the current vCIO playbook and recommend changes as necessary.
- Perform regular remote and / or onsite (as needed) ABR, MBR, QBR Technology Business Reviews, as well network assessments with Customers and Prospects.
- Maintain frequent remote unique touches with Customers.
- Maintain, plan and develop a strategic roadmap profile for each Customer.
- Complete vCIO alignment reviews, based on Technology Alignment Reviews.
- Maintain clear and precise business and alignment objectives for each Customer.
- Maintain Customers’ technology budgets.
