We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Southern Pines, NC. This role is essential in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including the receiving and processing of HealthBeacon units and medical waste, refurbishing units for use, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. If you are a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with an interest in medical device technology and logistics, this position may be the right fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming HealthBeacon units and sharps waste from mail-back programs and ensure proper storage.
Re-work and refurbish used HealthBeacon units, including software/firmware updates, for future patient use.
Manage medical sharps waste, ensuring proper disposal and recycling of sharps bins.
Safely operate warehouse equipment while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Work closely with the HealthBeacon team in Ireland and third-party medical recycling companies to meet operational and recycling goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
0-1 year of warehouse or logistics experience.
Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace.
Physical stamina to lift and move items up to 49 pounds frequently.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
