Hamilton Cardiology Associates** is a full-service cardiology practice that consists of Board-Certified Cardiologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Certified Technologists, and critical personnel who work together as a team to meet our patients' needs. - Answer incoming patient phone calls.
- Triage calls according to established protocols.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel routine appointments.
- Check voicemail and return patient calls.
- Forward phones to the answering service at 4 PM.
- Unforward phones from the answering service at 8 AM.
- Ensure phones are properly forwarded and unforwarded.
- Call in the on-call physician coverage to the answering service.
- Maintain appropriate chart documentation.
- Review and stay updated on position reference material that outlines all responsibilities.
- Assist with other office support duties as directed by the manager and/or supervisor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a call center or customer service setting.
- Proficient in EHR, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Monday to Friday (40 hours /-)
- No night shifts or weekends.
