Job Brief
We are seeking a Solutions Manager to cover the Great Lakes Region comprising of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, NJ, NY, New England as well as the Canadian Provinces of Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. The RSM would be responsible for solution selling in the region with a focus on new business development. This RSM would be based out of our Hamilton, Ohio headquarters and report to the Director of Sales and Business Development. Travel expectations are a minimum of 8-10 days per month.
Responsibilities
· Leveraging a “hunter” mentality, develop new business opportunities and grow the overall territory in margin and dollars sold.
· Grow business with our established prospects and customers.
· Nurture existing and potentially new distributors including training and making joint calls.
· Represent Hamilton in a world class, professional manner.
· Weekly Activity reporting through CRM along with quoting and presenting solutions.
· Quarterly and Yearly targets for sales including growth opportunities.
Requirements and Skills
· At least 3 years’ experience in a technical sales role.
· Experience in generating, maintaining and developing new business.
· The qualified candidate much prefers to “hunt” rather than “farm:” the territory.
· Love engaging with solutions and working with teams.
