SALARY: $17.77/hour--$21.81/hour, based on experience
HOURS: 8 hours/day, Monday--Friday, 9.5 months/year
Internal Applicants should have a high school diploma or a General Education Degree (GED) with some paid clerical experience. Internal Applicants must have the ability to type accurately from clear copy and have considerable knowledge of computers. All internal applicants meeting the Board and Union requirements will be offered an interview.

Meet District testing requirements
Must meet District hiring requirements
EMIS knowledge and any other District report initiatives such as DASL, etc.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provide clerical support for the efficient and effective operation of the school administrative offices. Assist were appropriate
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of students as directed by the principal
Prepare and distribute miscellaneous statistical, enrollment, absence reports, and correspondence without supervision
Act as liaison for the District, community, staff, students, and parents with tact and diplomacy
Process inquiries/requests, whether written or verbal
Maintain confidentiality or information, including, but not limited to, student records and free/reduced lunch forms
In the absence of the school nurse, dispense prescription medications, apply band-aids, and give first aid
Contact parents when necessary
Receive various payments, fees, etc., and deposit monies
Process mail
Maintain EMIS student information, cum files, and submit EMIS reports
Miscellaneous filing
Operate a copier, typewriter, computer terminal, and adding machine
Maintain routine records
Is punctual and prepared for immediate assumption of duties upon arrival at school
Utilize time appropriately and maintain good attendance
Interact positively with staff, students, and parents
Stay current with Board guidelines and policies
Follow the District safety and regulatory compliance policy, procedures, and guidelines
Maintain and improve professional competence by attending professional growth seminars.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the building principal or supervisor.
Proactively address potential problem areas to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Other duties as assigned by the district administration
