Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates with strong mechanical skills for a large valve assembler position at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-3 : 30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $19.70 an hour.
Job Responsibilities :
- Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders
- Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order in a quality and schedule-minded fashion
- Execute special tasks within the assembly process
- Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products
- Maintain order at the workplace
- Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams
- Perform computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
- Coordinate transport arrangements with shipping
- Prioritize and arrange production papers and pick list based on commitment level to customers
