Job Overview:
Hamilton Construction Co. is currently seeking a Laborer - Bridge to join our team in Great Falls, Montana. This position involves supporting our bridge construction efforts through various hands-on tasks and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Punctuality & Readiness: Arrive on time each day, prepared to work.
- Reliable Transportation: Ensure reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to project safety rules and environmental regulations at all times.
- Support Construction: Assist in various tasks related to bridge, highway, and rail bridge construction projects.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience on heavy civil construction projects, especially bridges, highways, transit, and rail, is preferred.
- Tools: Comfortable using hand and power tools for various tasks.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfort with Heights: Must be comfortable working at elevated heights.
- Work Environment: Ability to access all points of a construction site in diverse climates and environments.
- Safety-Sensitive: This is a Safety-Sensitive Position, where impairment while working presents a substantial risk of serious injury or death.
Wage Information:
This position is a Prevailing Wage job. The hourly wage for this role will be in accordance with Montana's prevailing wage rates for the location and project type. The exact wage rate will depend on the specific project and will be disclosed to candidates at the time of application.
