Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic for Construction Equipment to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of construction equipment. You will work at our various yard locations and multiple job sites, ensuring our fleet is in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will work independently as well as part of a team while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair construction equipment at various yard locations and job sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Ensure all work is done safely and follow all environmental regulations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure equipment readiness for upcoming projects.
• Work overtime as necessary to meet project demands and ensure deadlines are met.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires adherence to strict protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:
• Ability to travel to different job sites and locations (overnight travel required).
• 5 years of field mechanic/maintenance experience is preferred
• Class B CDL is required.
• Basic computer skills to input maintenance data and complete reports.
• A safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
• A clean driving record.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Knowledge of various types of construction equipment.
• Experience working out of a service truck.
• A background in construction or equipment rental is a plus.
• Electrical and hydraulic knowledge is highly desirable.
