Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pilebuck to join our team in Great Falls, Montana. The primary function of this role is to assist in the fabrication of both substructures and superstructures of bridges, as well as temporary work bridges. This position will require someone with expertise in welding, cutting, and rigging in bridge construction settings.
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires adherence to strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Attendance: Arrive on time each day, ready to work.
• Transportation: Ensure reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety rules and environmental regulations at all times.
• Fabrication: Perform welding, cutting, and fabricating attachments to piling according to construction drawings.
• General Construction Work: In addition to bridge work, perform precision cutting for demolition of work bridges and general carpenter duties.
• Equipment Operation: Use welding machines, cutting torches, power saws, chain saws, metal cutting saws, come-a-longs, power wrenches, and hand/power tools.
• Pile Driving Knowledge: Have hands-on experience with pile hammers, vibratory hammers, cranes, and rigging.
• Working at Heights: Comfortable working in high places, such as elevated structures.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in various weather conditions and diverse construction environments.
• Travel & Relocation: Must be open to travel within Montana for job assignments.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in pilebuck work, with significant bridge construction experience.
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, and rigging.
• Familiarity with various types of welds and welding techniques.
• Solid understanding of pile-driving equipment and crane operations.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments and at various heights.
• Ability to travel within Montana for job assignments.
• Drug Screen: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Wage Information:
