- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including urinals, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
- Restocking bathroom supplies.
- Washing windows and dusting blinds.
- Using industrial cleaning equipment and applying cleaning solutions.
- Maintenance:
- Performing routine maintenance on cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Making minor repairs to building fixtures and equipment, such as changing light bulbs.
- Assisting with grounds maintenance, including snow removal and lawn care.
- Ensuring heating and cooling systems are operational.
- Security and Safety:
- Locking and securing the building after hours and during the school day.
- Reporting any safety hazards or needed repairs to appropriate authorities.
- Assisting with emergency situations.
- Other Duties:
- Emptying trash receptacles and bagging trash for disposal.
- Preparing rooms for special events.
- Moving and rearranging furniture.
- Assisting with loading and unloading supplies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
