WORK HOURS: Full-Time 40 hours weekly (Potential for Hybrid Remote Work Schedule)
STARTING SALARY: $18.48 hourly

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION):
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and to read and write simple sentences
  • One (1) course in public relations (or one month experience) or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency and required auto liability insurance.
JOB DUTIES (SUMMARY):
  • Duties of this position include the routine operation of a light weight truck or automobile to deliver or pick-up mail, passengers, equipment, furniture, etc. including the performance of manual labor incidental to the above operations.
  • Loads and unloads purchased supplies and equipment from vendor vehicles. This includes stacking, moving, relocating and transporting delivered goods to appropriate departments, locations and floors at all HCJFS sites. Coordinates and schedules the deliveries and signs for delivered goods. Assists in the stockroom.
  • Assists in the complete operation of the mail room. Processes and sorts mail including operation of machines to process or hand process incoming and outgoing mail (e.g. addresses, package or stuff, sorts, stamps, bundles, ties, registers). Deliver and pick-up mail for various divisions. Pick-up and deliver mail to the post office.
  • Assists in moving existing equipment, supplies or inventory as needed to different floors in the building for meetings, workshops, etc. Also assists in moving and relocation of work units or other locations or floors.
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
  • Attends conferences and training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: (*Indicates can be developed after employment)
  • Knowledge of: office practices and procedures, safety practices in moving heavy materials.
  • Skill In: operation of mail processing equipment; sort items into categories.
  • Ability to: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers; ability to move heavy materials.
BACKGROUND CHECKS REQUIRED:
Background checks consistent with requirements in OAC 5101:2-5-09 must be completed at employment and every ten years following, including but not limited to the following systems:
  • State Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS)
  • State Child/Abuse Neglect Central Registry Check for any state in which the applicant resided within the last five years
  • Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification Investigation (BCI)
  • FBI
  • National Sex Offender Public website (WWW.NSOPW.Gov) Code 5101:2-5-09 must be conducted for each prospective employee
