Job Overview:
The Office of Connie Pillich, Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney, is seeking a qualified Team Support Specialist for the Family Law Division. The Family Law Division represents the Hamilton County Department of Job & Family Services in child abuse, neglect and dependency matters. The Family Law Division is comprised of six support specialists and nineteen practicing attorneys who together ensure the citizens of Hamilton County receive quality legal services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Initiate opening new cases and processing closed cases.
- Assist with electronic preparation and formatting for complaints, motions, case plans, semi-annual administrative reviews, court reports and other pleadings.
- File documents and pleading with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court.
- Issue written requests for service and witness subpoenas.
- Organize and distribute information, documents and pleadings whether by mail, interdepartmental process, email or other electronic means.
- Answering phone calls from the public, attorneys and other legal professionals.
- Assist in preparing discovery for litigation.
- Willingness to become a notary, administer oaths and notarize documents/pleadings.
- Assist with additional case related and other duties as needed or assigned.
- Professionalism and confidentiality are essential. Background check required.
