JOB SUMMARY
Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of EMT-I training.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School, Completion of a State Approved EMT-I Course of Study
Licensure: Current valid drivers license, current Georgia certification, BLS CPR required.
Experience: Previous experience desirable.
Skills : Demonstrates proficiency in patient care skills for scope of practice. A working knowledge basic computer applications
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
- Must display motor coordination, manual dexterity and physical condition, to lift, carry, extricate and administer care to patients, possess both near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle (day or night). Corrective lenses permitted.
