Job Scope: Primary objective is to perform basic functions for installing/assembling/refurbishing custom lube, fuel and water tank/bodies (usually on a rolling chassis, both on and off road trucks). Duties include prepping and installing hydraulic components on equipment(including hoses, valves, blocks, banks..etc). Perform duties to install basic electrical components and DOT wiring. Previous experience and basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, & electrical components and their functions on trucks or heavy equipment.
Essential Functions:
1. Must be able to ensure manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements are met.
2. Work from schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, prints, photos, and instructions; while still able to troubleshoot and free think.
3. Identify and understand basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical components that are commonly used in various assemblies
4. Retrieve parts, materials, and supplies from staging location.
5. Must be able to operate hand and power tools.
Qualifications:

- Mathematically competent
- Ability to read and comprehend prints, diagrams and instructions

Sampling of Tools and Equipment Used:
Include but not limited to the following: hand tools, power tools, saws, impact wrenches, welder, grinders, sanders, drill press, tape measure templates, and heat gun. Forklift, overhead crane and fabrication equipment such as punch presses, shears and press brakes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.66 - $17.40 per hour
