Criminal Justice Teacher

HFM BOCES Career and Technical Education program is seeking a part-time Criminal Justice Teacher. The position will be M-F from 11:30am-2:55pm.

Individual must be eligible to apply for or currently hold the Law Enforcement Services (7-12) Certification - eligibility requirements to apply may include:

• Associates Degree or Higher - Law Enforcement Services (Criminal Justice) and Two years of Occupational Work Experience (Law Enforcement Services)
• High School Diploma and 4 years of Occupational Work Experience (Law Enforcement Services)
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher - Law Enforcement Services (Criminal Justice) and 1 year of Occupational Experience (Law Enforcement Services)

TEACH Clearance

Per Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, to be employed in a position designated by a school district or BOCES as involving direct contact with students, a clearance for employment from the State Education Department is required. Formal job offer/selection is contingent on ability to obtain a fingerprint security clearance through the TEACH system prior to working.
