Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Prepare and label medications accurately for administration.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care in acute care settings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Educate patients on proper medication administration techniques, including inhalation methods.
Skills
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment is preferred.
