The Opportunity :
Dive into the dynamic world of Hamilton Lane's Enterprise Technology team as the Security Operation Analyst within our Information Security and End User Technology Department. We keep our data secure and deploy the end user facing IT solutions within the firm.
As our Security Operations (SOC) Analyst, you will be a key player in our security team, responsible for protecting our company's computer systems, networks, and data against threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses, and cyber attacks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in security operations and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential security issues. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying vulnerabilities, improving our security posture, and ensuring compliance with security standards and practices.
Beyond the Information Security and End User Technology team you will work closely with Software, Network, and Systems Engineering teams to develop and implement advanced security protocols and measures, respond to security incidents, and provide guidance on security best practices.
Your responsibilities will be to :
- Monitor security tools, logs, and perform security assessments to identify issues, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Develop dashboards, automated alerts, and access controls.
- Manage and configure security tools (e.g., vulnerability discovery, patch management, EDR, SIEM, MDM, DLP).
- Manage and configure access controls and management systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive incident response plans; respond to security breaches and incidents, including forensic analysis and mitigation.
- Assist with regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security operations, incident response, and compliance activities.
Your background will include :
Salary for this position is $60,000 - $90,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
