The Investor Services Team is responsible for a variety of activities throughout the lifecycle of our Funds. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day execution of all Fund-related operations activity across reconciliation, reporting and investor support. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and operate in a fast-pace and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for reconciliation of Fund investments, including daily transaction activity as well as monthly / quarterly valuations.
- Coordinate the reporting process for Funds, including preparing quarterly reports that add color to the quarterly financial statements.
- Responsible for analyzing fund financial statements and performing detailed reviews of investment activity to identify performance drivers.
- Possess a basic knowledge of accounting principles and be able to extract and analyze data from financial statements and bank statements.
- Learn and master HL Technologies that are used for generating reports, reconciliations and investor data requests.
- Manage investor inquiries and requests through the HL investor portal, providing timely and accurate responses to ensure a positive investor experience.
- Interface with a diverse group within Hamilton Lane across various departments, including the Investment Team, Research, Reporting, Business Development, Legal and Senior Management.
- Assist with department wide initiatives and process improvement.
