We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate/VP of Data Intelligence to join our growing team. Your Responsibilities Will Be To
- Lead Business Intelligence efforts in Power BI to transform business operations and analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Build efficient data models in Power BI that support robust reporting and analytics.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power BI reports and dashboards, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Train business users on how to leverage the data provided in our data warehouse, data lake, and data marts.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity and security.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- 6-10 years of experience in a data role (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer).
- 3-5 years of experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
- 3 years of experience with SQL or other query languages.
- 2 years working with Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Intermediate/Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and orchestration
- Experience with data warehousing techniques and star schema data modeling.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions, Snowflake or Azure is a plus.
- Experience implementing and maintaining semantic data models.
- Experience utilizing SDLC and engineering best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in financial services, Private Markets is a plus.
- Experience with Python, R, or other scripting language
- Experience working with Data Engineers
