As the Vice President, Learning and Development, you will design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses. You will enjoy building upon the organizational passion for learning and place a high value on top-quality, bespoke learning experiences and on creating programs that effectively leverage internal and external faculty and embrace our collective sense of creativity and fun. Additionally, you will evaluate the effectiveness of these training programs through feedback, assessment, and performance metrics and be a strategic thinker with a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Your Responsibilities Will Be To
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and priority areas for development and knowledge building.
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to create tailored training solutions.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and related tools; ensure they are up-to-date and user-friendly.
- Stay abreast of learning and development trends, best practices and innovations and review for applicability at Hamilton Lane.
- Manage communications related to and/or supporting learning initiatives, inclusive of stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and manage productive relationships with select external faculty and coaches.
- Oversee the budget for learning and development initiatives.
- Coach and mentor employees to support their professional growth and career development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in learning and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Confident in handling data and using it to support decision making.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
