Hamilton Mayer is recruiting for a highly qualified Chief Estimator to spearhead the expansion of the Tunneling Division within a leading general contractor ranked among the top #25 by ENR.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, review, and sign off on all estimating activities for tunneling projects.
- Thoroughly review contract plans, specifications, and other bid documents.
- Supervise estimating personnel for tunneling bids.
- Identify major items in RFQs & RFPs.
- Solicit quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare HCSS comparison sheets.
- Identify D / M / WBE requirements and prepare compliance plans.
- Develop clear write-ups and documentation for proposals.
- Prepare bid and proposal submission documents.
- Set up JV manual for Joint Venture bids.
- Price bid items and review with project team.
- Timeline equipment procurement and logistics.
- Assign and monitor take-off estimators.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout bid process.
