Job Title: General Superintendent
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $175,000 base salary Excellent Benefits
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Superintendent to lead multiple large-scale projects from inception to completion in the Atlanta region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction projects with values ranging from $60-100M upwards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage budgets for assigned projects
- Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and formulate monthly owner reports
- Establish job processes, including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
- Perform project scheduling, quality control, and establish overall project logistics
- Oversee and coordinate planning, scope development, specification, drawing preparation, equipment, and materials planning
- Ensure overall quality and project control is at the highest standards
- Provide project reports to the owner and senior leadership
- Lead by example, being available and inclusive for team members
Requirements:
- Experience leading projects in the hospitality, multi-family, or medical sectors, with a minimum value of $60M
- Strong knowledge of the Atlanta region and its construction market
- Ability to introduce and maintain a culture of positivity and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time, to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
