What are the responsibilities and job description for the EKG Respiratory Technician - FT - Nights position at Hamilton Medical Center Inc?
Shift Type: 12 Hour night shift - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
JOB SUMMARY
Performs EKGs and associated duties including post processing of EKGs, holter and event monitoring, Also helps with supplies by stocking areas working with the respiratory therapists to make sure needed equipment is available. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Licensure: No licensure required
Experience: Minimum of six months technical experience preferred but not required.
Skills: Must be trained in CPR. Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients needs that are age appropriate. Ability to select proper instrumentation/supplies appropriate for age group of patients served.
