What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Consultant- ND - PRN position at Hamilton Medical Center Inc?
To work on exercise floor, being friendly and helpful to all members. Orient new members to equipment along with developing and supervising the progress of members in a basic exercise program. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the exercise floor. May assist in leadership of fitness programs and classes if qualified. Consult with Sports Enhancement Program Coordinator on specific personal training needs of clients and develop/instruct individualized programs to address needs. Learn bio-mechanic technology software and hardware systems to educate, test, perform analysis and train clients. Promote biomechanics lab services within community which may involve on site demonstrations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma required. Some college preferred.
Licensure: CPR Certified. Personal training certification preferred.
Experience: None Required.
Skills: Good communication and human relation skills. Leadership. Proficiency in fitness activities. Ability to learn and apply high technology software applications.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to lead group fitness classes including but not limited to cardio, strength training, cycle and water aerobics. Must be able
to critically review schedules, programs and instructors for effectiveness.
