Hamilton Medical, Inc. is looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the production team, processes, and equipment, while attaining delivery and quality targets safely and cost effectively. This role has ownership over Production KPIs and strategizes and executes business cases, resources, and action plans to meet existing and growing customer demands. A leading candidate is an exceptional cross functional team collaborator (including Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Service), drives a culture of continuous improvement, uses data-lead decision making, and performs world-class execution of tasks to optimize the operation. This role also periodically shares knowledge and collaborates with other Hamilton sites worldwide to proliferate the best processes and solutions across the global company.
- Leads by example in all aspects of the job's responsibilities: Safety, People, Quality, Production, and Cost. Consistently demonstrates exceptional professionalism and fosters positive work-force morale.
- Strong ability to motivate and manage teams, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts. Works collaboratively with all teams and supports an environment of unity.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of all personnel and compliance to all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Balances daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet quarterly and annual output targets.
- Communicates effectively with direct reports and ensures development and effective coaching through one on one's, performance evaluations, and daily feedback.
- Creates and manages an effective labor plan to adequately cover production demand and is responsible for meeting the production cost center budget. Responsible for all non-labor production costs associated with assigned work center(s), including but not limited to, consumable spend, and scrap.
- Strategically problem solves through the use of metrics, KPIs, and data-informed decision making
- Ensures adequate staff coverage for all shifts, accounting for employee vacations and unplanned absences. Ensures daily production goals are met through daily metric monitoring.
- Responsible for managing and coordinating training throughout areas of responsibility with focus on professional development and building the best team.
- Analyzes production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement; develops plans for, and implements, corresponding corrective actions.
- Coordinates with engineering and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for automation, cost-justified equipment or process improvements, and creates and executes business cases accordingly.
- Supports projects for new manufacturing processes and develops plans to start-up new equipment, technology, and work centers successfully.
- Ensures that the quality of the company's products is maintained and improved upon in accordance with the company's philosophy.
- Effectively communicates and presents information to site leadership and aligns projects with the strategic vision of the site.

- Position requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business, or related discipline from an accredited non-profit university.
- 3-5 yr experience in leadership with direct reports in a manufacturing environment
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
