Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Illinois regarding professional nursing. BSN preferred.
• Licensing and Certification: Current and good-standing RN licensure with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Maintains CPR, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• Training and Experience : 3-5 years of clinical experience in the ED. 3-5 years of supervisory/management/leadership experience preferred.

Wage Range: $36.04-$48.96

About the Position: Hamilton Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Emergency Department Director. The Emergency Department Director manages the coordination of activities for HMHD Emergency Department with responsibility for costs, methods, and staffing for 24-hour operations in the department in collaboration with nursing administration. Responsible for operational performance, quality, service, environment and regulatory compliance. Determines how to use resources to meet schedules, deadlines, and goals.
