What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN - Physical Therapist position at Hamilton Memorial Hospital District?
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School.
- Licensed in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR card Knowledge of general P.T. practice act. Knowledge of Rehab/PT policy and procedures.
- Capable of communicating effectively verbally or in writing.
- Must have good leadership skills.
Description:
- Evaluates and records patient treatment plan in coordination with their physician.
- Establishes patient treatment programs to include modalities of heat, cold, massage, mobilization, hydrotherapy, light therapy, electricity and patient education as per orders from the physician.
- Evaluates gait patterns and instructs patients in proper technique and use of devices.
- Coordinates patient care or treatment with other members of the team according to abilities.
- Adapts treatments according to the level of improvement of the patient.
- Provides home health services through a contract with Addus or Egyptian Health Department.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Pay: $60.00 per hour
